HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is a management system used within workplaces to ensure that food is of high quality across all aspects of the supply chain. The process is a vital part of an organization’s structure and is maintained and executed from the sourcing and earliest production of ingredients until the consumption of food of the costumers. Although management will make the HACCP plan, workers will be responsible for ensuring that work involving food is completed to the standards of HACCP. So it is vital that everyone in the structural organization, from top to bottom has an awareness of the basics of HACCP.
